熱中症とクーラー
昨日は暑かったですね。。。
わたしは夏になると、どうも足がパンパンにはれてしまって、なかなかぐっすり熟睡できません。
おかげで今日はなんだか寝不足・・。
最近、気になるのは熱中症の話題。
新聞でも、とりあげられるし、人間にかぎらずもちろん、犬も。
熱中症というのは、体の温度があがりすぎてその状態が続くとなるらしい。
という事は室内にいてもなるという事らしい。
わんちゃんの場合は、体温が約平熱38度です。
熱中症は体温が41度を越えると危険です。
犬は、汗をかくことができないので、口から「はぁはぁ」といって体温をさげようとします。
でも、体温が41度を越えるとなかなか自分では体温をさげられなくなり、熱中症にかかるという訳なのです。
さらに、湿度も関係しており、湿気に弱いダックスは梅雨の時期でも熱中症にかかりやすいんだとか。
そうならない為に・・
1.日影にいつでもいけるようにしておく。（屋外飼いも含む）
2.新鮮な水がいつでも飲めるようにしておく。
3.室内換気をよくし、空気がこもらないようにする。
4.からだを触って体温が暑いようなら、体をぬれたタオルでくるんだり、水あびをさせて体を冷やす。
5.夏の日中には散歩をさせない。（アスファルトの照り返しがダックスにはかなりの負担です。）
などなど、体を冷やすという所では、暑い日中の外で霧吹きをかけたりすのは、逆効果。
毛の表面だけがぬれるだけなので、かえって、体力を消耗させてしまうので注意です。熱中症は早期発見をし、動物病院につれていけばかなりの確率で助かりますが、発見が遅く手当てが遅れると死亡するケースも少なくないとか。
人間と一緒だね。。。
とにかく、暑さに弱いので涼しく、湿度が適切な環境化がベストって事ですな。
最近は、ナッツは家の中で「はぁはぁ」言ってるので心配です。
大理石シートの上で寝かせたり、タオルでくるんだり、水あびしたり、氷くったり、その時の様子で対処してます。
自分自身も料理してるだけで汗だくになったり、汗がたら〜っと落ちてきたりするので、もうたまりません。
限界〜！
扇風機だけでは、女的部分を保つ事はすでに不可能と考えれる。
乱れた髪も直す気にもなれやしない。。
うちで涼しい顔してられるのは、だぁさんだけです。なんで平気なの・・？そんけーです。
現在クーラー交渉中ですが、冷蔵庫を購入した事もあり、交渉は難航中。
お願いだ。
クーラーを誰かくれ。
